Free parking

At car park P5, you can park for free in the spacious Zenneparking. To do so, follow the P5 Parking Route. The parking lot is located in the Sint-Jozefstraat (the street between the ER and parking P1).

Hospital clients can park for free:

  • Disabled parking spaces are provided in parking P2 right  in front of the main entrance at 65 Gendarmeriestraat. Parking is free if you can present the entrance ticket and the disabled card at the reception.
  • Clergy (Rabbis, Imams, Priests, …) when they visit to provide assistance to the sick.
  • Oncology patients and their companion can park for free at the "paid parking lot P1"  after having their ticket stamped by the Day Clinic Internal Medicine Department.

The GPs and organized patient transport providers with whom AZ Jan Portaels cooperates, can use their parking badges at car parks P1 and P2.

Bicycle - scooter

You can safely park your bicycle or other riding wheels such as a scooter in the bicycle shed just in front of the hospital's main entrance. However, you are not allowed to enter the hospital with a (folding) bike, scooter or other riding wheels.
