Treatments and tests

The most common treatments and tests that are performed in the day clinic:

  • Chemotherapy
  • hlebotomy and administration of intravenous substances such as iron, bone enhancers, magnesium, immunoglobulins, antibiotics, etc.
  • Blood Transfusion
  • Bloodletting
  • Paracentesis
  • Lumbar puncture
  • Bone marrow puncture and bone drill
  • Tests: include glucagon, synacthen, thyreotropin-releasing hormone, oral glucose tolerance, etc.
  • Flushing port catheter
