Medication and materials

Each patient pays a flat fee of 0.62 EUR per day for reimbursable medication. This amount is determined by law and is charged regardless of whether you have taken such medication.

The cost of medication that is not (fully) reimbursed by the health insurance fund, is calculated on the basis of your consumption. These costs are clearly defined on your invoice stating the name, quantity and amount payable.

The cost of some implants, prostheses, non-implantable medical devices, ... will be charged to you in part or in full. The cost depends on the type and material from which these products are made.
