Phlebotomy is possible by appointment only (T 02 254 64 00 or online)

Adults and children over the age of 12 years.

You can come by if you have an appointment for a blood draw and a subsequent blood analysis.
Every working day (except holidays) between 7 AM and 3 PM.

After your registration at the kiosk at the reception,  you can wait in the waiting room opposite the elevators, block D, ground floor.

What you need to bring:

  • ID card
  • application form completed and signed by the requesting physician
Children under 12 years of age

Phlebotomy for children is performed at the Paediatrics Department in the hospital.

If the patient is unable to go to the phlebotomy room by himself/herself, they can book a phlebotomy at home in cooperation with the Wit-Gele Kruis (White Yellow Cross), after contacting the laboratory.

Dropping off samples:

Patients can come by the lab 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to drop off samples.

However, semen samples must be delivered fresh (within one hour of production) and before 1  PM on regular working days (except Fridays). During transport, keep the sample at body temperature (e.g., in  your trouser pocket).
