Oncology is the medical specialty for the treatment of cancer. AZ Jan Portaels has a partnership with UZ Leuven in the area of oncology. The Oncology Department consists of a medical oncologist, a radiation oncologist and a haematologist. The hospital also has an experienced team of oncology nurses, who work alongside a psycho-social nurse at the Oncology department.
