Rooming-in is possible on all our wards, subject to prior consultation and agreement with the relevant department. You can indicate your choice to the nursing ward of your stay upon admission.
If a family member wishes to stay overnight with the patient in the patient's room, this is only possible for patients staying in a single room. It is not mandatory to choose a single room if you want rooming-in.
For this overnight stay, the hospital charges a supplement:
Full board (3 meals a day): 25 euros
Half board (breakfast): 19 euros
The above prices are standard for children and adults. A folding bed is provided for the accompanying family member. If there is no shower in the room, a shower on the corridor can be used. Facilities such as internet, TV, etc., are included in the price, but please bring your own towels, washcloths, and personal care products.
Rooming-in at the Paediatrics department:
For parents, continuous visitation is allowed. There is always rooming-in available for one parent (for children up to 16 years old). The sleeping parent sleeps on a sofa bed, and there is the possibility to shower. The price of the overnight stay for the sleeping parent depends on the meal choice:
- Overnight stay + breakfast: 19 euros
- Overnight stay + full board: 25 euros
